SPOKANE — The Spokane Indians raced out to an eight-run lead after just three innings, and cruised to their fourth straight win, 11-3, over the Everett AquaSox on Friday night at Avista Stadium.

The four-game losing streak is first-place Everett’s longest of the season.

Tim Elliott’s struggles on the mound continued as the AquaSox starter allowed nine runs, seven earned, on seven hits in three innings. It was the third time in his past four outings that Elliott has allowed seven or more earned runs. Everett’s bullpen settled things down the rest of the game, as Fred Villarreal, Kyle Hill and Igor Januario combined to allow just two runs, one earned, with eight strikeouts and no walks over the final five innings.

It was also a quiet night for the AquaSox at the plate. Everett (51-30) manged just four total hits in the game, two from Justin Lavey and one each from Joseph Rosa and Liam Sabino. The AquaSox also committed three errors in the game.

Isaac Collins went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in and Jack Blomgren went 3-for-3 with two RBI for Spokane (41-41).
