EVERETT — Two people who died in a T-bone crash Friday afternoon in Everett have been identified.

Otila Retel Azanedo de Jones, 67, and William Jones, 85, both of Everett, were driving in a Honda sedan just before 4 p.m. Friday on West Mukilteo Boulevard near Forest Drive. The Honda collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.

Azanedo de Jones and Jones died at the scene, according to Everett police. They both died from blunt force injuries the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Monday.

The Chevrolet driver was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Friday with serious injuries, Everett fire inspector Bronson Pearson said.

Alcohol, drugs or speed were not believed to have played a role, Everett police said on Twitter.
