EVERETT — Two people died in a car crash Friday afternoon in Everett, officials said. Another person was seriously injured.
A Honda sedan and a Chevy Tahoe collided just before 4 p.m. on West Mukilteo Boulevard near Forest Drive, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell.
The three people involved in the T-bone crash were adults, Everett fire inspector Bronson Pearson said. The two people in the Honda died at the scene. Police believe they were a man and woman in their 80s.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify them and determine the cause and manner of their deaths.
The Chevy driver was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with serious injuries, Pearson said.
Mukilteo Boulevard was closed from Forest Drive to Dogwood Drive.
Alcohol, drugs or speed were not believed to play a role, Everett police wrote on Twitter.
