MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — In the sixth inning, Owen Meek doubled in the tying run and scored the go-ahead run when the Spartans mishandled Charlie Schofield’s bunt. Meek finished the game 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Layton Ronghold earned the win by pitching the final four innings for Terrace (6-8 overall), allowing four hits and a run while striking out five. Gavin Gerhman went 2-for-3 with a triple and a run for Stanwood (11-2).

MILL CREEK — Aiden Jones hit a go-ahead RBI-single in the top of the seventh and the Eagles (7-5 overall, 3-3 league) held on to hand Jackson (10-2, 3-1) its first league loss of the season. Easton Aalbu and Reece McBride each drove in two runs for Arlington. Jackson managed just four hits, but walked seven times including bases-loaded walks by Quin Johns and Ashton Bergman in the second inning.

Archbishop Murphy 8, Edmonds-Woodway 3

EDMONDS — Henry Gabalis went 3-for-4 with a triple and was part of all the runs the Wildcats (10-5 overall, 5-4 league) needed, driving in three and scoring another. Cooper Thompson controlled Edmonds-Woodway’s lineup, throwing all seven innings and allowing just four hits, no walks and two earned runs. Warriors leadoff hitter Andreas Simonsen went 2-for-3 and helped E-W (8-6, 5-2) get out to a 3-0 lead after the first two innings. Archbishop Murphy responded with 11 of its 12 hits over the last five innings.

Lynnwood 5, Shorecrest 2

SHORELINE — Ryder Bowman allowed a lone earned run during a complete game, scattering seven hits and a walked while striking out four as the Royals doubled their win total (2-12 overall, 2-7 league). Quin Burnham had a pair of hits and a stolen base for Shorecrest (9-5, 4-3).

LAKEWOOD — The Cougars’ bats were ablaze as they registered 17 hits over five innings. Winning pitcher Ryan Hansen hit a double, while Dylan Wolfe had a double, a triple and an RBI. Brayden McAllister and Grady Dunc each drove in four runs. Lakewood improved to 4-9 overall and 1-7 in league, while Baker dropped to 1-11, 0-8.
