LAKE STEVENS — Mara Sivley struck out 10 batters and allowed a lone unearned run on three hits as the Vikings (10-8 overall, 4-4 league) remained in strong position to clinch a 4A District 1-2 Tournament berth with two league games remaining. Allie Thomsen allowed one earned run while striking out nine batters as Jackson (7-11, 4-4) was unable to assure itself a postseason berth. McKenna Richer doubled twice for Lake, and Alyssa Anderson went 2-for-3.

EDMONDS — The Warriors (12-5 overall, 8-1 league) inched closer to a first-round bye in the 3A District 1 Tournament thanks in large part to 11 strikeouts in five innings from pitcher Helena Marsh. Noa Gillespie went 3-for-3 with an RBI and scored two runs. Shorecrest (4-11, 1-9) leadoff hitter notched both of her team’s hits.
Shorewood 9, Mountlake Terrace 1
SHORELINE — Maddie Schilperoort (3-for-4), Lillian Perrault (2-for-3), Rose Gallagher (2-for-4) and Charlotte Copacino (2-for-3) each doubled and combined for nine of Shorewood’s 12 hits as the Storm Rays improved to 11-6 overall and 6-3 in league. Bri Reyes went 2-for-4 with a triple for Terrace (7-9, 5-5).
Meadowdale 17, Lynnwood 0
LYNNWOOD — The Mavericks (7-9 overall, 6-3 league) dominated with 10 hits and 11 walks. Lynnwood’s (1-15, 0-10) Lanah Palimbo recorded the lone hit against Meadowdale pitcher Payton Aldridge, who struck out eight.

MARYSVILLE — Elle Glover went 2-for-3 with a double as the Chargers improved to 8-10 overall. Lauren Hufford homered and doubled for GP (11-5).
Darrington 12, Muckleshoot Tribal School 4
DARRINGTON — Loggers’ pitcher Claire Wright went 4-for-4, crossing the plate four times, with two doubles and two RBI. Ava Pater also had a double and an RBI for the Loggers, who improved to 10-3 overall and 5-2 in league.
