Army Spec. Kristofer M. Roberts has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Michele Sams of Everett. Roberts is a 2004 graduate of Everett High School and a 2008 graduate of Whitworth University in Spokane.
Army Pvt. Aaron M. Blough has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Renee Blough and grandson of Arlys Petersen, both of Lynnwood. The private is a 2005 graduate of the North Sound Christian School in Mountlake Terrace.
Army National Guard Pvt. John C. Hosea has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Zorna Hosea of Lynnwood and is a 2005 graduate of Bothell High School.
Navy Seaman Recruit Alex J. Evanson, son of Debra and William Evanson of Arlington, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Evanson is a 2006 graduate of Lakewood High School.
Navy Constructionman Apprentice Jay A. Smith Jr., son of Denise and Jay Smith of Arlington, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Smith is a 2006 graduate of Granite Falls High School.
Army Pfc. Jeeson M. Cha has deployed to Iraq to serve in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cha, a light vehicle mechanic, is normally assigned to the 249th Quartermaster Company, Fort Bragg, N.C. He has served in the military for a year. He is the son of Chong K. Cha of and Yeng L. Cha, both of Bothell.
Navy Seaman Christopher J. Santucci, son of Sharon and James Santucci of Edmonds, recently completed basic training at U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Santucci is a 2005 graduate of Kings High School in Shoreline.
Navy Airman Recruit Travis J. Johnson Rogers, a 2009 graduate of Bothell High School, recently reported for duty aboard the a USS Boxer, based in San Diego.
