Suspect crashes after attempting to flee police in Marysville

MARYSVILLE — Police on Friday afternoon chased and arrested a man after he tried to drive away during a traffic stop.

The suspect fled after being stopped in the 11400 block of Smokey Point Boulevard, police Lt. Jeff Goldman said.

He struck another vehicle in the 9200 block of State Avenue. No one was seriously hurt.
