Free dispute resolution sessions for parents
The Dispute Resolution Center of Snohomish and Island counties offers free mediation sessions for parents having conflict over where their children will spend the holidays.
Mediation sessions are being scheduled now through Dec. 19. The regular $300 cost per session is being waived for a limited time.

Have breakfast with Santa on Saturday
The Mountlake Terrace High School Music Boosters hosts their annual Breakfast with Santa fundraiser from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at 21801 44th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace.
The meal includes pancakes, eggs and sausage. The cost is $4 for students and seniors and $6 for adults. Tickets will be sold at the door.
Music groups from Mountlake Terrace schools plan to provide music and entertainment. Organizers plan to offer photos with or without Santa for $6 to $8.

Lake Stevens group to help food bank Sunday
The Crosswater Social Committee plans a holiday food drive to collect food for the Lake Stevens Food Bank from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Crosswater Community, 2706 86th Drive NE, Lake Stevens. Santa Claus has been invited.
Volunteers are needed to help collect food and to participate in caroling. Donations of nonperishable food and money are appreciated.

Lynnwood conservancy to hold bake sale
The Lake Stickney Conservancy invites the public to its annual holiday bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Lake Stickney Community Club House, 1428 S. Lake Stickney Drive, Lynnwood.
The event features cakes, pies, breads, biscotti, candy, butterscotch Rice Krispie treats and lattes.
The conservancy is a neighborhood nonprofit established to preserve Lake Stickney’s wetlands and habitat.

Swim with Santa at Mill Creek pool
West Coast Family Aquatics Center invites the public to a Swim with Santa from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at 15622 Country Club Drive, Mill Creek, to benefit Toys for Tots.
The event features holiday treats, crafts, games and a movie. A $5 donation per person and one unwrapped toy are requested for admission.

Adopt a dog or puppy at Bothell event
The Academy of Canine Behavior offers a canine Christmas dog adoption event from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at 4705 240th St. SE, Bothell.
Hundreds of dogs and puppies of various sizes, ages and breeds from across Washington are set to be on hand ready for adoption.

Sky Valley Food Bank posts holiday hours
The Sky Valley Food Bank has posted its Christmas hours. The food bank plans to be open for donations only on Monday and then open for food distribution from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 18 and 19.
The food bank will be closed from Dec. 20 to Dec. 28, open Dec. 29, and closed for New Year’s from Jan. 1 to Jan. 4, reopening Jan. 5.
Alternate drop-off locations are available.
