How can state issue be tied to Bush?

The liberals in this county have sunk to new lows with their “Bush Derangement Syndrome.” To try and blame the Bush administration for sobriety checkpoints proposed by Democratic Gov. Gregoire (as Ron Larsen did in a Friday letter to the editor) is further proof of the debilitating effect of Bush Derangement Syndrome.
I wonder how long it will be until Bush is blamed for JFK’s assassination. I have many problems with the Bush administration, but to try and blame proposed sobriety checkpoints (a state Issue) on it is a blow below the belt. Shame on The Herald for contributing to the continuation of this type of rhetoric.
