Students help Camp Fire USA
Three high school students who serve on the board of directors of the Camp Fire USA Snohomish County Council are busy helping with the nonprofit organization’s current capital campaign, which hopes to raise more than $2 million to expand programs and increase capacity at Camp Killoqua near Lakewood.
Participating are Tony Deal, Trina Huschka and Rebeccah Treser.
Toby Brown, capital campaign coordinator, has high praise for the students.
“Each is making a cash donation to the campaign, along with volunteering their time to attend board meetings and participate in fundraising,” Brown said. “It’s pretty impressive. All three are caring, confident youth and future leaders.”
