Boeing boosts profits, sees stock slump

As expected, the Boeing Co. increased its 2007 revenue projections in its third quarter earnings release this morning.

The aerospace company predicts its revenues for this year will rise from $65 billion to $66 billion.

However, delays of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner have pushed the company’s 2008 earnings projection down from $71 billion to $67.5 billion.

The company’s stock dropped as much as $2 in early morning trading and is trading currently at $93.54, down $1.41.
