Arlington: Library closes for work

The Arlington Library is scheduled to close on Sunday and Monday while new carpet is installed in the staff workroom. The library is scheduled to reopen at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

The library is located at 135 N. Washington Ave.

Camano Island: Library meetings planned

The Camano Island Library Advisory Board is inviting patrons to share their thoughts on the new library during meetings at 10 a.m. on Nov. 19 and Dec. 17.

The board advises the Sno-Isle Libraries Board of Trustees on matters relating to the temporary Camano Island Library. The three-year pilot library was developed in response to community feedback in 2006.

The library opened in June as Sno-Isle assesses interest on Camano for a permanent library.

The meetings are scheduled to be held in the library, 848 Sunrise Blvd. at Terry’s Corner.

Marysville: Benefit to help disabled

Eagle Wings disAbility Ministries is having a dessert benefit and silent auction Sunday.

The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 5115 100th St. NE.

The cost is $20 at the door.
