Arlington: Linda Snider appointed to Civil Service Commission
Linda Snider, a great-grandmother who recently moved to Arlington, is the newest member of the city’s Civil Service Commission. The City Council unanimously voted to appoint her to the commission during a meeting Monday.
“Linda is one of those wonderful citizens that came to us and asked what she could do for the community — and I think that’s pretty neat,” Mayor Margaret Larson said.
Snider moved to Arlington from SeaTac, where she served on the planning commission and several boards and committees.
She has been married for 41 years and has three children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
