You guessed the Boeing Co. would fly its Dreamliner in September or October?

Guess again, following Boeing’s update conference call Wednesday. The company has pushed back the first flight of its Dreamliner until the holiday season.

That means you can also guess again in the Guess the 787’s First Flight Contest.

We know from Boeing that its 787 won’t take to the skies until at least mid-November.

Mike Bair, Boeing’s vice president of the 787 program, thought the likelihood was high that the Dreamliner will fly before the new year dawns.

“We don’t see a high probability, or even a low probability, of moving out of the year,” Bair said.

A few blog readers had their doubts about Bair’s statement even before Wednesday’s update.

What do you think now? Submit your guess and win not only 787 collectibles but also bragging rights for picking the date even Boeing can’t provide yet.

Send me an e-mail with the following:

1) Provide the date and time (Pacific Standard Time) of the 787’s first flight.

2) How long (minutes and hours) will the Dreamliner’s first flight last?
