First 787 ready for rollout

Published 11:19 am Friday, July 6, 2007

By Michelle Dunlop

The first 787 Dreamliner is ready to roll … into the Boeing Co.’s factory in Everett, that is.

Boeing towed its Dreamliner into the paint hangar during the early hours of June 26. You can can get a sneak peak at the first Dreamliner.

The plane is painted and ready to be revealed to the world this Sunday, says Mike Bair, Boeing’s vice president of the 787 program.

“It’s gorgeous,” Bair said.
