Man found dead at Lynnwood Transit Center

LYNNWOOD — The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was found Tuesday at the Lynnwood Transit Center.

Police were called about 5:30 p.m. after someone found the man’s body in a bathroom, said Shari Ireton, spokeswoman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office handles police services for Community Transit property under a contract, she said.

Detectives don’t believe there was anything suspicious about the death, Ireton said.

The medical examiner will confirm the man’s identity and determine how he died.
