Widows Project: The Widows Project launches with a luncheon event, 12:30-2:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at Mill Creek Foursquare Church, 1415 164th St., Lynnwood. Black History Month: Second Baptist Church, 2801 Virginia Ave., Everett, hosts an event to celebrate Black History Month at 3 p.m. Feb. 25 that will feature a mass choir, skit and a presentation on notable African-Americans in history. More info: www.sbceverett.org, 425-259-6545.
Mural celebration: A reception to celebrate a new mural reflecting those served by the Interfaith Association of Northwest Washington’s Family Shelter is set for 3-4 p.m. Feb. 25 at Everett United Church of Christ, 2624 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Interfaith march: Trinity Episcopal Church hosts an interfaith Unity March in support of refugees, 1-3 p.m. Feb. 26 starting and ending at the church at 2301 Hoyt Ave., Everett. World Day of Prayer: Sanctuary Covenant Church hosts a World Day of Prayer service, 10-11 a.m. March 3. The church is at 4502 Rucker Ave., Everett. World Day of Prayer is an annual, ecumenical event focused on prayer for peace and justice. This year’s service was written by women in the Philippines and centers on Matthew 20:1-16.
