Prep girls soccer: Everett 10, Lynnwood 0

LYNNWOOD — Haley Ayers completed a hat trick and Bailey McMullen added two goals to lead Everett in a Wesco 3A win. Ayers or McMullen were involved in nine of Everett’s 10 scores, each assisting on two goals apiece in addition to the five combined scores. Ayers scored in the 15th minute (McKayla Fox assist), the 42nd and 68th (CJ Shaver). McMullen’s scores came in the 52nd (Ashley Simons) and 79th (Maddie Reed) minutes. Shaver was the first-half keeper for Everett (14-0-1 league, 14-0-1 overall), replaced by Fox in the second half and the pair combined for the shutout over Lynnwood (0-12-1, 0-12-3).
