Prep volleyball: Meadowdale 3, Lynnwood 0 score

BOTHELL — Meadowdale defeated Lynnwood 3-0 Thursday night with convincing wins in the first and third sets, 25-17 and 25-14. The second set was a close fought battle ending 25-23.

Lindsey Milner shone both offensively and defensively according to Lynnwood coach Jean Kellogg. Kellogg was impressed with the quality of Milner’s 16 digs. “We were hitting them very hard.”

Kellogg also praised Meadowdale setter Dayton Shrum who had 25 assists. “She did a good job spreading the ball around.”

Strong performances from Lynnwood include Jennifer Tsuji’s 27 assists and Arianna Garcia’s 11 kills and 12 digs.

Meadowdale is currently 6-0 while Lynnwood falls to 2-2
