Project creates unsafe sidewalk

I can’t hold back any more. The Library Place condo sidewalk project is “unsafe.” Whoever came up with this idea must have forgotten that Rucker Avenue is used by many commuters on a daily basis. I guess Skotdal Real Estate, “the largest property owner,” forgot there is a parking garage just north of its property.

They are not just creating a blind spot, they are opening the right turn lane again right where the parking garage exits. Skotdal may own a lot of property, but if there is one accident there, this company and whoever came up with that stupid idea should be held responsible. Either the company pays for a sidewalk all the way to the corner, or tears its out.
