SNOHOMISH — State troopers are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run that left a man with serious injuries Saturday afternoon south of Snohomish.
A 21-year-old Lynnwood man was driving a tan Toyota Camry west on Lowell Larimer Road around 12:30 p.m., when he tried to pass a silver vehicle near Highway 9, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The vehicles collided and the Camry went off the road, crashing into a tree. The second vehicle did not stop.
The Lynnwood man was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, trooper Heather Axtman said.
Troopers collected a silver side mirror at the scene. They believe it came from the driver’s side of a Mazda3.
