Wasky bottle release at Foggy Noggin: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing will release bottles and tap a keg of its Wasky Burton Ale at noon Jan. 12 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. Brewed in the tradition of the ales brewed at Burton on Trent, Burton ales were popular in the 1700s. A rich, sweet malty beginning finishes with a warming bitterness.
Mirage brewers night at Crucible Foundry: Everett’s Crucible Brewing is hosting Seattle’s Mirage Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Jan. 16 at the brewery, 909 SE Everett Mall Way, Suite D440, Everett.
Scuttlebutt Family Days: Everett’s Scuttlebutt Taproom is hosting Family Days on Saturdays at the taproom, 3314 Cedar St., Everett. There will be $2 root beers, cornhole, board games and music on select dates: Jan. 19: School of Rock; Feb. 9: School of Rock; March 2: Caspar Babypants.

Foggy Noggin barleywine vertical: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing is hosting its third vertical tasting event of its English barleywine Duck’s Ass at 6 p.m. Jan. 24 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. There will be five years available to taste (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018). Tickets are $50.
Pints 4 Purple at SnoTown: Snohomish’s SnoTown Brewing is hosting a Pints 4 Purple fundraiser from 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at the brewery, 511 Second St., Snohomish. Snotown will donate $1 from every pint sold, with money raised during the event going to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
KEXP Transistor IPA tall can release: Everett’s Scuttlebutt Brewing is teaming up with Seattle radio station KEXP to throw a release party for its new tall cans of Transistor IPA at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Belltown Yacht Club, 2320 First Ave., Seattle. There will be live music from Spirit Award.
