New Lynnwood acupuncture clinic holds open house

1st Wellness Clinic in Lynnwood invites the public to an open house from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 25 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 28 at the clinic located at 3503 188th St. SW. There will be food, Chinese herbal tea tasting and a chance to win free acupuncture and massage sessions.

United Way, Greater Everett foundation to fight intergenerational poverty

Local nonprofits, 20 in all, will receive $160,000 in capacity-building grants from United Way of Snohomish County and Greater Everett Community Foundation in 2015 to help address intergenerational poverty in Snohomish County. This is the second year that each agency has supported this work and the first time they approached the decision making through a joint process.

Quintana Roo re-opens in Shoreline

Chris and Eileen Matt have announced the grand opening of their new Quintana Roo Mexicatessen restaurant. The event is to be celebrated from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 12 to 15 at 16301 Aurora Ave. N in Shoreline. The original Quintana Roo location was in Edmonds.
