Lynette Chen-Wagner has been hired as a loan officer for North County Bank’s newest location in Mill Creek, a branch that is scheduled to open in November. Chen- Wagner has experience as a loan officer, branch manager, business consultant, certified Chinese-English interpreter. She has a master’s degree in business administration in marketing and international business. She lives in Lynnwood.
Pam Crayne-Smith of Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County has been named the Homecare Association of Washington 2006 Nurse of the Year. Crayne-Smith has worked with children in home care for the more than 15 years she has been with Providence Hospice. She also was a founding team member of the Carousel Program, one of the first pediatric hospice and home care programs of its kind in the country.

Orthodontist Dr. Jason Bourne wants to help kids avoid injury to their braces and their teeth by buying back their Halloween candy. Bourne is paying $4 for each pound of treats surrendered at his offices. Of that, $2 goes to the child and $2 goes to the Boys and Girls Club. Last year, Bourne collected more than 200 pounds of candy.
