Dominic Chow is the new director of custom power solutions for Crane Aerospace &Electronics of Lynn­wood. He will be responsible for program management, new business development, strategic planning and management of business relationships with key customers. Chow joined the company in 1984 as a mechanical engineer and most recently led the programs business development and business management functions.

Jaime Suarez has joined Whitfield Insurance Agencies Inc. in Everett. He will head the firm’s Drivers World division, where he will oversee sales, personnel and departmental growth.

Nena Kruger has been hired by KeyBank as business banking sales leader for the Transmountain team based in Everett. Kruger has worked for several major banks, most recently as a relationship manager in Everett.

Ken Stark has been confirmed as human resources director for Snohomish County government. Stark was appointed by Executive Aaron Reardon and confirmed by the County Council. He most recently served as director of the state’s mental health transformation project.

Business events

The Women Business Owners Power Lunch will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle. The Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual dinner auction Sept. 27. Rick O’Conner, broadcaster for the Everett AquaSox, will serve as emcee at the event, which will be held from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Comcast Arena at Everett, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett. RSVP by Sept. 16 at 425-334-0433. Tickets are $70 and include a champagne reception and seated dinner.

The Washington Technology Industry Association will hold a networking event from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Red Lion Hotel in downtown Seattle. Cost is $20 for members, $25 at the door.

The Everett Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a mixer for young professionals and a networking event from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Original Roadhouse Grill, 11804 Evergreen Way, Everett. New business

An open house is planned from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday for the new location of Providence Physician Group’s Harbour Pointe office, now at 4112 Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW, Suite 100, in Mukilteo. The office is opening walk-in clinic services at the new location. The open house will include refreshments and health screenings for adults and children. The clinic services will be available from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Milestones

Hogland Transfer Co. will celebrate its 75th anniversary later this month. The Everett company operates 50 trucks and is the oldest privately owned trucking firm in Washington state.
