Vern Fonk commercial headed for Jay Leno show

I guess there really is no such thing as bad publicity.
Local company Vern Fonk Insurance, best known for its bizarre TV commercials, is headed for the Tonight Show. The company’s “Fonk to the Future” commercial will be featured tomorrow night on a segment of the show called “Best Worst Commercials.”
And yes, the guys over at Vern Fonk seem pleased with this development.
“It never ceases to amaze me just how popular these commercials have become, even outside of the Puget Sound”, said Rob Thielke, better known as the bald guy who stars in most of the TV spots.
