Best way to get rid of termites? Hire a professional

Question: How can we kill termites in the garage ourselves or do we need an exterminator? Someone said put a pail in the garage with bleach and ammonia in it because it releases a deadly gas that would kill them. Also, how can we mix our own weed killer or herbicide? Someone said use citrus oil or clove oil but where do we buy that?
Answer: First of all — no matter what you do — DON’T mix bleach and ammonia together. You will create a poisonous gas that will kill you and yours in an instant. It’s OK to take a stab at getting rid of flies, ants, roaches and rodents. If you fail the only repercussion will be continued flies, ants, roaches and rodents. If you goof while trying to eradicate termites or any other structural pests your house could be eaten before you get a chance to do it properly. Call a structural pest control operator to have it done correctly.
Pour vinegar (great stuff) on weeds to do them in.
