DeMiero jazz fest celebrates 40 years

It has music and all that jazz.

The DeMiero Jazz Festival, a vocal jazz fest, celebrates its 40th year with public concerts at 7 p.m. March 10, 11 and 12 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N.

The festival offers workshops for students and public performances by great musicians. It’s directed by the jazz man himself, Frank DeMiero, who has been called “the Vince Lombardi of Vocal Jazz.”

Vocal artists Dee Daniels, Carmen Bradford, Charenee Wade, Greta Matassa, EdCC’s Soundsation 2016 and the Seattle Jazz Singers will perform.
