The English just keep on invading.

This winter saw the charts absolutely dominated by Adele, while, nipping at her heels, was one of her fellow Brits, Ellie Goulding.

While Adele will eventually make her way to the Northwest — she’s coming in July — Goulding will beat her to town, headlining KeyArena at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Goulding has carved out her own spot on top of the charts with a glittery and easily listenable take on electro-pop. Early No. 1 hits like “Lights” showed off her bright vocals and a penchant for glistening synthesizers.

Since then, she’s become a commonplace presence on the charts, with hits from last year including “Love Me Like You Do” and “On My Mind,” both which have been played in excess of 200 million times on Spotify.

Expect to hear those tracks, both off her new album “Delirium,” during her Seattle stop.

Tickets are $31 to $55.50 at ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000.

Meanwhile, the Paramount Theatre will stay busy in the days ahead with a pair of shows.

First up is a stop on the so-called “Generation Axe” tour, which will bring a long list of guitar gods to the venue at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The bill includes Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi — in other words, not many household names. However, to people who like hanging out at Guitar Center, the concert should set off rushes of adrenaline in anticipation of seeing the men shred.

Tickets are $45 to $95 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.

Then acclaimed singer-songwriter Father John Misty will play the Paramount Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The one-time member of Fleet Foxes, whose real name is J. Tillman, is continuing to tour behind his latest lauded album, the lush Laurel Canyon-inspired disc “I Love You, Honeybear.”

Tickets are $35.75 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.

The Showbox SoDo also is bringing in a full slate of acts, with four big names headed to its stage.

The venue will kick things off at 7 tonight, as the SoDo gets a visit from Killswitch Engage. The metal act is touring now after the March release of its new album, “Incarnate.”

The group released its self-titled debut album back in 2000, quickly gaining a following for its pulsating blend of metal and hardcore music. While its music rarely lights up the radio dial, the group’s fans propel its albums up the charts, which often fall in the top 20.

Tickets are $30 at showboxonline.com or 888-929-7849.

Then R&B star Ciara — who made headlines last month when she became engaged to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson — will play the Showbox SoDo at 8 p.m. Monday.

The singer burst onto the national stage in 2004, when early single “Goodies” topped both the Hot 100 and the R&B singles charts. Though her sound as since matured from those early days, she remains a reliable hit maker.

She’s touring now behind her 2015 album, “Jackie,” which went to No. 17 on the Billboard 200.

Tickets are $35 at showboxonline.com or 888-929-7849.

The Used then takes over the Showbox SoDo for a two-night stand, playing some of its early albums in their entirety to celebrate the band’s 15th anniversary.

At 8 p.m. Tuesday, the group will run through its self-titled debut album, which helped set up the template for the group’s mainstream take on screamo. Then, the band will play “In Love and Death,” its second album, at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Tickets for either night are $30 at showboxonline.com or 888-929-7849.

And the SoDo will bring the Game to Seattle, as the Compton-bred hip-hop star tours behind his latest disc, “The Documentary 2,” a sprawling double-disc set.

That album showcased the fact that the Game is hip-hop royalty. The disc rounded up plenty of the rapper’s big name friends, with Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Drake, Future and more featured on the album.

Tickets are $55 to $60 at showboxonline.com or 888-929-7849.

Local favorites Hey Marseilles will headline the Showbox at 9 p.m. Saturday, as the Seattle-born indie rock group tours behind its third disc.

That self-titled album found the folksy five-man band nudging itself closer to the mainstream as it teamed with producer Anthony Kilhoffer, who also has spent time working with big names like Kanye West and John Legend.

Tickets are $17 at showboxonline.com or 888-929-7849.
