Food and wine — pinot noir, hands-on with Hope Sandler, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 29, $75. Menu: chicken braised in pinot noir sauce, fettuccine with wild mushrooms and creme fraiche, caramelized onion and gruyere cheese tart, raspberry chocolate decadence bars.

“A Taste of Thailand,” hands-on with Pranee Halverson: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 4, $65. Menu: Thai ginger soup with chicken, coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal and Kaffir lime leaves, stir-fried Thai basil beef with fried egg and jasmine rice, halibut green curry with bamboo shoots and Thai basil, phad Thai with prawn and other accents; banana in warm coconut milk.
