Coldplay is letting fans download its latest video, “Lovers In Japan”, for free through iTunes until Friday.
The poppy single version excises the second half of the track, “Reign of Love,” which on the album provides a sweet little piano outro lasting more than 2 minutes long.
The video has no particular gimmick. Basically, the foursome play the song. Sometimes the camera does a loop-de-loop. Sometimes the guys write lyrics on the screen with a golden light pen. It’s basically a well shot, colorful video, with virtually no gimmicks.
Here’s a low-resolution version of the clip. If you like this, then the significantly higher resolution that you can download through iTunes is worth your while.
