Nutrition and exercise for women: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center is conducting a study that examines the effects of exercise and nutrition on breast cancer risk factors. The study needs healthy overweight and sedentary postmenopausal woman ages 50 to 75 that live in the Seattle area. Must be a non-smoker and cannot have used hormone therapy for the past six months. Transportation volunteers needed: Volunteers are being sought to drive elderly, disabled and low-income clients to and from medical appointments. People are also needed to perform light housework for elderly and disabled and to help people with AIDS through working at the VOA Food Bank, concessions at the Everett Events Center and delivering food to clients.
