The synth-pop superstar duo of Vince Clarke and Andy Bell are back.

Erasure, a band synonymous with pulsing rhythms and synthesizers, steps out of the ’80s to center stage at the Moore on Thursday.

Their latest album, “Tomorrow’s World,” a live concert recording, is due out Tuesday, two days before the Seattle show.

Erasure’s hits include “A Little Respect,” “Chains of Love,” “Always” and their cover of ABBA’s “Take a Chance on Me.”

Safe to say they’ll be trying out new material and resurrecting old favorites.

The concert is scheduled for 8 p.m., The Moore, 1932 Second Ave., Seattle. Tickets are $45 at stgpresents.org or 877-784-4849.

Remember that great moment from Woodstock when Sly Stone exhilarated the crowd? OK, it’s likely that you weren’t there, but you may at least remember Sly and the Family Stone’s great set from the Woodstock album.

Although Sly has gone his own way, the Family Stone is back with all their hits.

They check into Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley on Thursday for a four-night run.

Several Stone family members have regrouped to reprise their much-loved funk-rock hits. This is Vet Stone, Lisa Stone, Skyler Jett, Eric Young and Elva “Tiny” Lockhart.

Their famous songs include: “I Want to Take You Higher,” “You Can Make it if You Try,” “Hot Fun in the Summertime” and “Everyday People.”

Get ready to boogie at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Oct. 9, and a second show at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, 2033 Sixth Ave., Seattle. Tickets are $26.50 at www.jazzalley.com.

If you want to hear some of the best DJ mix grooves and club music out there today, check out Designer Drugs at Showbox at the Market on Saturday.

Michael Vincent Patrick and Theodore Paul Nelson are the pair who makes the electronic sounds.

They’re mixing it up at 9 p.m. at the Showbox at the Market,
