Snohomish County has another chance to shine in the final round of “Evening Magazine’s” You’ve Got Talent competition on KING-TV, Channel 5.
Three local singers, Johnny Gray of Marysville, Josh Mundell of Lake Stevens and Lynnwood’s May Palmer, made it to the final round, beating out nearly 100 other contestants from around the Puget Sound region.
That means they are guaranteed a VIP audition when NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” swings through Tacoma on Feb. 19 and 20. It also means the three will perform at a free concert from about noon to 2 p.m. today at EMP’s Sky Church in Seattle so one can be crowned the grand champion.
In addition to the NBC audition, today’s grand champion wins a trip to Las Vegas to perform at Planet Hollywood.
The concert today is free just to go to the Sky Church, but it costs $15 if you want to check out the rest of the museum’s exhibits.
You also can tune into “Evening Magazine” on Tuesday nights throughout February to catch the performances.
