Mukilteo Community Orchestra: The orchestra’s first concert of its 25th season will be 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. The free Holiday Fantasy concert will include the “Hansel and Gretel Overture,” Prokofiev’s “Lieutenant Kijé Suite” and Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite.” The concert will be preceded at 1:20 p.m. by a stage-side lecture about the performance pieces and an audience conversation with conductor Shaun Day. Kings Hall launch: Everett Music Initiative plans a two-night launch party Nov. 18-19 for a new art museum and music venue at 1611 Everett Ave., Everett. Hell’s Belles: The all-female AC/DC tribute band is set to perform Nov. 18. An opening act to be determined will take the stage at 9, followed by Hell’s Belles at 10:30 p.m. Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles: The nation’s first all-female mariachi will perform Nov. 19 . Hewitt Fights for Human Rights: Tony V’s Garage, Black Lab Gallery and Lucky Dime in downtown Everett will host a variety of performers, all female or female-led, in a fundraiser for women’s reproductive rights. One artist will be Rena Priest, Washington state’s first Indigenous poet laureate. Village Theatre: Tickets for the theater’s performances of “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Cinderella” are now on sale. “Little Shop of Horrors” is running in Everett through Nov. 20. The tuneful Broadway classic stars Northwest actors Kyle Nicholas Anderson as Seymour and Shanelle Nicole Leonard playing the role of Audrey. Following that, “Cinderella” is set for Jan. 6-29. Cascadia Art Museum: Ongoing through November is “The Art of Howard Duell,” featuring the work of a leading mid-century Northwest sculptor and painter who lived in Edmonds. Showing through Nov. 20 are “Northwest Arts & Crafts Movement: The Chase Family and Friends,” showcasing the work of a prominent family in Washington state cultural history, and “The Art of Reading,” a collection of works depicting books and the act of reading either as the main subject or hidden away in the periphery of the composition.
