Stanford, an Edmonds native and graduate of Edmonds High School, always wanted to be a cowgirl. The books she’s written prove she made that dream come true. Her books are “Cowgirl’s Cookbook: Recipes For Your Home On The Range,” “Keep Cookin’ Cowgirl: More Recipes For Your Home On The Range,” “You Might Be a Cowgirl If …: A Guide To Life on the Range” and “Wild Women and Tricky Ladies: Rodeo Cowgirls, Trick Riders, and Other Performing Women Who Made the West Wilder.” The shop is located at 111 Fifth Ave. S., Edmonds. 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 20, Edmonds Bookshop

Coloring book author Coccia painted the heron mural on Fourth Avenue in Edmonds. She has produced 19 coloring books. The shop is located at 111 Fifth Ave. S., Edmonds.

10 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 8, Sweetwater Creek Farm Studio
