50 YEARS AGO (1959)

Daniel Albert Michel was now associated with Werner Realty in Everett. Michel was a member of an Everett pioneer family, his grandfather arriving here in 1892. He had quarterbacked the Everett championship football team of 1952.

Organizing a caravan from its lodge quarters in the old Windmill building south of Everett, Lynnwood Moose Lodge paraded to Lynnwood Junior High School to deposit more than 50 pints of blood in the South County Chapter of Snohomish County Blood Bank. Helping decorate one of the cars were Merlin Martin, Dick Hokeisel and Charles Scwinhart.

25 YEARS AGO (1984)

Robin Haas was busy heading up an auction being staged the next day by Fire District 12 Volunteer Firefighter’s Association. It was at Lewis Auction on Smokey Point Boulevard.

Recently completing military service training schools were Pvt. Chad D. Fullerton of Monroe, tracked-vehicle mechanic course at Fort Knox, Ky.; National Guard Pvt. Brian C. Mitchell of Everett, personnel administration course at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind.; and Pvt. Douglas E. Dawson of Lynnwood, Army heavy-wheeled vehicle mechanic course at Fort Jackson, S.C.
