It’s funny, the things that bring people back together.
Take Blink-182. When the group went on hiatus, the three friends were on bad terms — Tom DeLonge was at odds with bandmates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.
Then Barker was in a plane crash that killed four and left the drummer hospitalized. That tragedy got the guys back into the same room.
Now the pop punk band is on tour again. They’re set to play Auburn on Sept. 10 and have been cited by the New York Times as an example of early-onset nostalgia among Gen Yers.
