The may have cancelled the auction of Michael Jackson’s Neverland estate — depending on who you believe, the whole auction was just a misunderstanding — but fans can still see his odd personal effects.

For a quick browse, you can hit the New York Times. For the full catalog, you can go to Julien’s Auctions.

Course, that wasn’t the only thing that happened this week. See:

  • Phil Spector looks like what he is: A convicted murderer. (Time)
  • Spike Jonze got hit by a car twice at fellow director Patrick Daughters’ request. (Pitchfork.com)
  • Chris Brown’s young fans sort of think Rihanna was asking for a beating and that Brown should be forgiven, on account of his cuteness. (New York Times)
  • The guys in Kings of Leon burnt down a deck on 9/11. (Rolling Stone)
  • The song “Umbrella” has a dumb part, but its producers are very smart. (The New Yorker)
  • Mandy Moore is learning about black metal from her husband, Ryan Adams. (Entertainment Weekly)
