ARLINGTON — An Arlington man died after his motorcycle crashed into another vehicle Sunday afternoon near Smokey Point, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Richard D. Sheppard, 50, crashed around 3 p.m. and died at a hospital later that day. The cause of death was blunt-force injuries, an autopsy showed.
Witnesses reported Sheppard was trying to pass several vehicles when the crash occurred in the 1800 block of Pioneer Highway, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
No one in the other vehicle was injured.
