Camano Island man dies after vehicle crashes into tree

CAMANO ISLAND — A man driving died Wednesday evening after his vehicle hit a tree.

Ted Guddal, 61, was southbound on South Camano Drive around 8:17 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, the Washington State Patrol said.

He died at the scene.

The crash is under investigation.
