SHELTON — A bicycle rider from Coventry, England, was struck by a pickup truck Sunday afternoon on Highway 101 near Shelton.
The Washington State Patrol says the pickup driver swerved to avoid another vehicle and hit 29-year-old Steven Prime, who was riding on the shoulder.
He was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he’s reported in serious condition Monday in intensive care.
