SNOHOMISH — A man with Alzheimer’s disease has been missing since Saturday night from his home east of Everett, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Paul Isamu Yoshihara, 75, was last seen around 10 p.m. Saturday at his home in the 4500 block of Lowell Snohomish River Road. His wife awoke around dawn to find him gone.
Yoshihara had been experiencing delusions, according to the sheriff’s office. Just before he went missing, he had been talking with his wife about their former home in the 2800 block of 128th Street in Everett. The residence has since burned down, but searchers wonder if he may have tried to return to the home.
Yoshihara was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black sweater and white jeans. He’s 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He has Alzheimer’s, but he’s otherwise in good health and can walk for long periods of time. Search parties worked into the night Sunday, but found no sign of him.
If you see him, call 911.
