GRANITE FALLS — A 23-year-old Everett man was seriously injured Sunday when he was thrown from the all terrain vehicle (ATV) he was riding on.
The man, whose name was not released, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle about 1 p.m. Sunday, said Jan Jorgensen, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman. He suffered internal injuries, Jorgensen said.
The man was driving with two companions along P-5000 Road, located 10 miles southeast of Granite Falls, when his ATV failed to negotiate a turn. The vehicle left the road, and tumbled 50 feet down an embankment. The man was thrown from the vehicle in the spill.
