EVERETT – Police continue to search for two men allegedly involved in a shooting that injured a man at the Covington Farms Apartments.
No specific descriptions of the suspects are available, according to Everett police Sgt. Boyd Bryant.
“At this point all we know is that they are white males,” Bryant said.
The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. Thursday. Police found a man, 25, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Providence Everett Medical Center.
Bryant would not say where the man was shot. His injuries were not thought to be life threatening, Bryant said.
Bryant wouldn’t comment about the motive for the shooting.
He said detectives found drug paraphernalia in the apartment and do not think the shooting was random.
Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line at 425-257-8450.
Everett: Jail inmate injured after jump
An inmate at the Snohomish County Jail was injured Friday afternoon after jumping off a building and falling between 15 and 20 feet.
The man, 33, was on the upper deck of the split level unit when he jumped and landed on the tile floor below, according to jail spokesman Jim Harms.
The extent of his injuries was not known. Harms said the man likely required care from a trauma hospital such as Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The man gave no indication to staff that he was suicidal, Harms said.
He had been in jail in November for malicious mischief, attempted theft and a probation violation, Harms said.
