Everett woman found dead identified as 21-year-old

There were no obvious signs of trauma on the body of Brianna Leigh Nyer.

EVERETT — An Everett woman’s death remained under investigation Thursday, days after her body was found near an apartment complex south of the city.

There were no obvious signs of trauma on the body of Brianna Leigh Nyer, when she was discovered around 7:45 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of 132nd Street SW, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

She was 21.

Nyer was identified Thursday by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. The cause and manner of death remained pending.
