Edmonds Lutheran Church free recycling event: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 12 at 23525 84 Ave. W., Edmonds. Drop off broken and obsolete electronics, home appliances and bicycles. Proceeds will benefit charities through 1 Green Planet, a nonprofit Issaquah recycler. Donations will be

accepted during the event for Annie’s Community Kitchen, a free community meal program at the church.

Everett Gospel Mission’s Walk for Hope Here: 8:30 a.m. Feb. 26 at 5118 S. Second Ave., Everett. As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, the Everett Gospel Mission is sponsoring a fundraising event. The 1.8-mile walk will begin with a rally across from the women’s shelter and end with a breakfast at the Men’s Shelter on Smith Avenue. The walk is open to teams and individuals of all ages. Mothers of Preschoolers Auction: The Camano Chapel is accepting donations for the 21st annual auction planned for March 25. Mothers of Preschoolers is a church-based community outreach program for mothers and their young children. To donate to the auction, call Dawn at 360-387-7657.

SELAH service: 7 p.m. Feb. 13 at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, 1318 Highway 532, Camano Island. An hour of prayer, meditation, psalms and music led by Jeff Johnson. Childcare provided. 360-629-3969.

St. John’s Episcopal Church food workshops: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the church, 913 Second St., Snohomish. The topics are healthy cooking with local ingredients and healthy eating on a budget. Catholic Daughters of the Americas: St. Rita Court of Everett meets at 9:45 a.m. the third Saturday of the month at Washington Oakes Retirement Home. 1717 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Meetings begin with the praying of the Rosary. Remember to order your lunch at the front desk before the meeting.

Mommy’s Day Out: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fridays through March 25 at the House Worship Center, 4109 103rd Ave. SE, Lake Stevens. Program for 2- to 5-year-olds to give mothers a day off.
