Learn how your landscape can provide sustenance for wildlife even in winter months at a class taught by John Christianson of Christianson’s Nursery in La Conner.
The class is planned for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 N. East Camano Drive, Camano Island. Examples of the types of plants that provide food or shelter for birds and other animals will be shown, along with garden maintenance tips.
Camano Wildlife Habitat Project hosts the class.

Street hearing set: A public hearing on a plan to extend Galena Street in Granite Falls is planned for Wednesday.
The hearing is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. at City Hall, 206 S. Granite Ave.
