EVERETT — A shooting at an Everett hotel early Thursday left a man in his 30s with non-life threatening injuries.
Everett police responded to the Days Inn in the 1600 block of Everett Mall Way just after 3 p.m. Officer Kerby Duncan said video showed the suspect entering the man’s hotel room and then leaving in a silver car.
The suspect remained at large Thursday morning as detectives continued to investigate.
The wounded man was shot once, and the bullet hit both of his legs, Duncan said. When officers arrived, they applied tourniquets to his legs to limit the bleeding. The man was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
The suspect and the man who was shot were believed to have known each other. There was no known threat to the public, Duncan said.
