Medical examiner: Woman killed by vehicle in Everett

EVERETT — A 37-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on a north Everett street Saturday night, according to autopsy results.

Heidi K. Allen, of Mukilteo, was found with serious injuries in the 1300 block of Grand Avenue, around 9:30 p.m. Police initially couldn’t confirm that Allen had been hit by a car. By the time she was found, the driver was gone.

Allen was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where she died a short time later. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office said Tuesday that she died from blunt force trauma.

No suspect has been identified, Everett Deputy Chief John DeRousse said Tuesday. In a statement, police said they couldn’t identify a make or model of a suspect vehicle, only that it might be damaged.
